Recently I had the opportunity to be introduced to this organization -- Young Inventors International is a not-for-profit organization that educates and connects student innovators. The group has more than 1,300 members around the world; their members own more than 400 patented and patent-pending technologies. They offer a variety of seminars, webinars, conferences, and rich resources to help educate and support young inventors around the world.
Anne Swift, the founder of Young Inventors International and a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University has put tremendous energy and commitment into building out this organization. Please check out the wonderful work they are doing - their blog is http://www.squidoo.com/younginventors and their web site rich with advice, coaching, and resources for inventors is at www.younginventors.org.
I'm a keen supporter of youth related initiatives such as this -- the enthusiasm and desire to succeed that these bright young minds exude is invigorating. It's gets your juices flowing and it's just a lot of fun.
enjoy your day!
Wendy
