It was a great listen and learn day at BarCamp Ottawa.
Lots of insightful people talking about IP issues - Alec Saunders and Tom Marley and Helen Maskery talking about Web 2.0 usability, and a host of other topics -- check out the notes on the topics presented!
What a great format -- go and hang out in your jeans and a sweatshirt - sit on the floor, lean against the wall, and just engage in learning and sharing with interesting folks. All ideas and questions welcome...the perfect setup.
The sessions were great, but the informal chatting between sessions (as always) was the most valuable for me. A bunch of smart folks, all with varying specialties, all willing to share ideas. Who could ask for more...I learned a ton about open source, how to improve my blog, building great demos, ....
Thanks for letting me play student for the day -- it was great!!
