Was having my morning coffee and flipping through the local paper when I came across this article. Since helping companies articulate their business strategy is my passion, I just had to make this the topic of today’s post. Poor communication cripples companies. Buzz words and jargon can be annoying, confusing and ambiguous. Let's do our part to get rid of the "fluff" we get caught up in.

So try this today.
Write down your 3 most over-used clichés or buzz-words. When you speak to people today (either by voice or email), replace these with simple English.
Mine will be:
Dialogue….I’ll just say “let’s talk”
Get up to speed….how about “learn”
Bandwidth or cycles…I’ll replace with plain old “time”.
Ahhh….spring cleaning…isn’t it great. My brain is feeling less clogged already!
